Axanthic highways
One of my newer goals is to produce axanthic highways, I'm not worried about how long it'll take I just need help figuring out how to reach my end goals.
Are the below steps correct?
1. Axanthic x Highway
2. Yellowbelly and Gravel both het axanthic (babies)
3. Step 2 x dad axanthic from step one
4. Babies from step 3 x dad from step 1
5. Baby axanthic highways?
More than likely I just confused myself even more lol.

Seems like you are making it more complicated than it needs to be.
Step 1 Highway X Axanthic
Step 2 Gravel Het Axanthic X Yellow Belly Het Axanthic

Re: Axanthic highways
Axanthic Highway
1. Axanthic x Highway - (Producing Het Axanthics - Het Yellowbelly or Gravel - Yellowbelly/Gravel indistinguishable from each other-currently)
2. Save all offspring Males and Females
3. Intercross offspring.
4. Pray to the Odd Gods for good results:
(1/4 chance of producing a visual Axanthic)(1/4 chance of appropriately mating a Yellowbelly x Gravel)(1/4 chance of producing a Highway)=1/64 for all three to occur.
If you can identify Yellowbelly vs. Gravel. You can narrow those odds to (1/4)(1/4) = 1/16
Assuming you are mating multiple females and producing a ton of eggs you might get lucky.

Other thing you might want to do
Get a Male Axanthic and a female super gravel and a female ivory, this way you do not put all your eggs in the same basket, there will be no doubt as far as offspring go and can make this a 2 step process cutting down on time and headache.
Don't have to keep tons of animals that you may not be able to identify and have some animals that are 100% identifiable that you can sell for what they are.

The only problem with this is I won't be able to tell em apart lol, so I'm going to do what you said with the babies and see of that hit the jackpot lol.

This was my exact thought.

Just read what you are working with. Put your male to both females, then cross the het gravel x het yb. You'll need to guess the gravel and you have bad odds so it may take a few tries. Good luck though, I hope the odds are with you!

But this is even better because now there will be no guessing yb vs gavel.
