    Over/Under

I just did a deep clean on all my tubs and tanks. Out of 9 snakes I’m gonna say at least 5 will crap in the next 2-3 days! What do y’all say? Over or under 5?

As predictable as tornadoes that aim for mobile homes...I'll say "over".

I also say over, snakes like to crap as soon as you clean their enclosures. Mine has done the pee and let me clean it, then once I put him back (after being out for a while) he decided to poop so I had to do it all over again. Last time he made it easy for me though, he peed, same deal I had him out for a while, then once I put him back he pooped, only this time he pooped perfectly in his water bowl without spilling any over and all I had to do was re-clean his water bowl. Like I couldn't love that snake any more than I already do but he made me happy that day.

    Re: Over/Under

It’s been about 3 hours, and 2 of them have already got me. I knew I smelled something! One of them was just a nice pile of urate. Easy spot clean. The other one was my boa, who I have had for about 6 months and has only crapped twice!! And she likes to dig under the substrate and hide and just stick her head out like a turtle. Nice big greasy pile right on the tub it’s self under the substrate! Spot cleaned and dumped the rest of the unsoiled substrate into clean new tub, always got to have an extra or 2 ready!

Lmao, I like how fast they went and "did their duty". Nothing like the smell of a clean enclosure to encourage a poop.

    Re: Over/Under

It’s already at 5 after about 24 hours! Feeding day was Thursday so I had a good idea it could happen this way, my snakes are all pretty regular (except my boa who goes every 3 months or so). They eat, 4-5 days later they do their business and are ready to eat again. But I had the day off and it was past due. I’m just gonna consider myself lucky my retic hasn’t had a blow-out yet. I better knock on wood. I’m at work and who knows what I will find when I get home!
