Photo Dump of Reptile Super Show - Los Angeles!

ok the latest stop of my summer travels took me back to LA and the Reptile Super Show this past weekend.

i was super excited as this is like the biggest show on the West Coast! i was tired as we just got in from Vegas, this was like over an hour drive through traffic outside the city in the suburb of Pomona actually, the fairground was huge and confusing and we had to go from one parking lot to another and then another and had to pay for parking, get out and walk a bit to the building. i was so annoyed but everything got better as soon as i was surrounded by reptiles!

ok i know peeps are here for pix, so i will note a few things before posting the cool animals...
-- the show had tons of lizards, monitors, tegus, turtles/tortoises, frogs, bugs, arachnids, etc. etc. but i was really focused on snakes lol. so i won't have lotsa pix of other animals.
-- i had to be aggressive and push through the crowds and the front of each booth. sorry kids! watch my elbows lol.
-- i got to meet some of the local Youtube personalities from the community including Miguel (and his brother) from AEP, Brian from Triple B and Dan and his wife Apple from DM Exotics. Apple and i talked alot about where were from and our favorite Thai and Lao foods lol. they were all really nice and cool peeps.
-- Steve Angeli who looks like Chuck Liddell and who breeds the best Gila's and Beaded Lizards said he likes my tattoos esp. the Wicked ones.
-- the price of MBK's seem to have gone up - over $200 now. i got mine for half that like a year ago at a local show.
-- there sure are lotsa coco husk substrate options now.
-- i didn't buy anything except for a Black Pearl Reptiles tshirt.
-- i really wanted to stay for the USARK benefit auction post-show but i like had sold-out tickets to Carly Rae Jepsen! https://www.instagram.com/p/B1DAvmMhwue/

here are links to the full album of pix:

you go under this tunnel from the parking lot and...

    come out the other side...

    to this.

and eyes on me as i walk in!

    pano-shot

    that's a nice shelving unit for Exo-Terras.

CITES species! the red one is in shed.

i love these tube setups for selling geckos! it gives them the ability to climb.

here's more Dominican Mountain Boa. this red phase adult is hiding/burrowing.

this was a well mannered Bredli on display outside of an enclosure.

MBK Prices have really gone up.

    this is the guy!

WLP - love that Joker smile!

i thought that Pied Retic was a big, very high pattern Grey Matter Lol.

    freakin' gorgeous!

    awesome!

    lotsa goodies in here!

yawp! do u know what that is?

    Cow combos

that VPI Snoglow Jungle on the right is a stunner! it reminds me of my Banana Batter (aka Grey Matter Banana) and i think it's also a world's first.

    rare, Diamond Boas!

    big baby Colubrids

    Blue Baroni!

an adult Spotted was much bigger than i thought!

lotsa Retics at the show. this was just 1 wall of Retics.

    amazing!

    Tigers!

    Vipers!

    Lizard eaters!

    Olives!

freaking awesome big bruisers and crushers!

and yep, they were kept locked up using blue painters tape Lol!

BEL Clowns! specifically White Diamond Clowns!

and u can actually see the pattern in the boy, who the breeder believes has Pastel. really amazing!

and it's really different from the single gene Russo Clown.

    gorgeous!

    Wowweee! a Snow Leopard!

    very pretty G-Stripe combos!

i think these were from Brian Kusko's table.

someone beat me in making this. amazing!

    SK Zebrabee

my friend Mike of Porter's Pythons had OD Pied combos. these are just 2 days old!

    this one has Enchi.

    double emoji!

i didn't ask the breeder to take it out. he claims it looks like a YB. i just see a Black Pastel.

Double recessive - Caramel Albino G-Stripe. has a kink on the tip of tail tho but still a stunner!

    Confusion

    Puzzle stuff!

this was mislabeled and most def has Clown. what a steal!

    Super Micro Scale combo!

the Sunset is really gorgeous. it's such a fitting name - warm colors like a sunset. $6k tho!

    wow! Lightning Spied!

amazing Super OD Pied and Super OD Lightning Pied! this guy also had like 3 Highway Pieds.

nice setups @ Layne Labs and his friends. that's him in the background on the phone.

Hybrid alert! the vendor actually said this boy successfully bred to a BP girl.

how about a tub of Eastern Indigo's?

    or this one, just chilling.

Thanks for sharing! I've been curious about the Pomona show even though I'll probably never be in California for it. I'm drooling over those drymarchon, I'd love to see Black Pearl's table in person.
