    New female TIGER Reticulated python

I went and picked up my new tiger retic today the guy who was selling her said she is aggressive and told me she is a rainbow retic , lol

Got there and she was in a pretty good setup he opened the tank and she flew at the door he wouldn’t touch her as he insisted she would bite . So I tapped her with a coat hanger and grabbed her out fine since then I held her all the way home and put her in a new setup , I must say she is puppy dog tame apart from the food associated when opening viv but that is easily fixed I am over the moon with her . Going to let her settle will take som pics in a few week

The tiger pattern is my favorite.
Is this a retic first for you?

I’m guessing mainland and not SD or dwarf?

Beautiful animal. I was at an expo last week and while I was waiting in line to buy a new hook and a couple more hides (wouldn’t let myself buy an animal so I had to spend money on something!) and there was a lady and her son in front of me asking questions and buying a whole setup for a new snake they had just bought. I asked the son what he had got and he held up a small deli cup with a very young tiger retic! He was probably 15 or 16 so he may have known what he just bought, but it was really clear, from the questions she was asking that his mom had no clue. I’m guessing that snake will be on Craigslist when mom realizes what she let her son get!

I think this is the same situation. I only payed £30 for her and the owner said she is aggressive and only fed her 1 med rat every 10 days, so she should be alot bigger for 4yr old !

Touch wood she hasn't been funny with me upto now I had her out yesterday for probley 2 minutes whilst I reset her thermostat and she is a pleasure to handle . So I look forward to the future with her
