Ball python eye cap problems, help please
I rescued a ball python that had multiple eye caps on from not being able to shed them. I was able to get her to shed them on her next shed after soaking her for a few weeks
She now has a dented eye. I'm not sure if she can see out of it but since shedding she moves it around now. Will her eye eventually go back to normal since she has shed her eye caps?

Without seeing the eye it's really tough to say what happened...
Did the eye dent WHILE you were removing the eye caps? Or did it happen after?
Most often, eye dents are caused by dehydration. If this is the case a quick soak will help her out and they'll return to normal.
If it happened WHILE you were removing the eye caps were likely talking a whole different situation.
How were you able to remove the eye caps? What technique did you use?

This. Another trick to rehydrating a snake is to feed f/t feeders wet.

I didnt remove them, I just soaked her and let her shed them off. And her eye is just dented now. She shed them off 2 days ago. She has a huge water bowl and I was soaking her everyday as well as misting her cage. so I know shes not dehydrated cause she drinks often as well.

I did try to soak her mouse and she dosent wanna eat cause shes shedding so I have to wait a little to do that. But I've upped her humidity and have been closely watching. Just wanted to see if anyone has experienced having a snake with the same issues. I feel so bad for her.

It takes time for a snake to gradually re-hydrate their body...it won't happen all at once with a few soaks or drinks of water. So just keep her humidity up, feed her
wet f/t feeders if you can, & be patient. BPs are prone to dented eye caps (they can still see) and many times they eventually plump out on their own, but it could take months. If not, there isn't much you can do to change it anyway.

Alright so I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and hope she works through it. Just wanted to make sure there was nothing else I could do. Thanks for the insight.

Based on the additional info you provided I'm very confident it's dehydration. It'll fix itself, probably sooner than later. Just make sure her water bowl is always filled with clean water.

Oh of course, every morning I give all my babys clean water. I wonder why she would be dehydrated, she always eats once a week unless shes shedding and I seem to notice her drink more than my other bps.

Well this didn't happen overnight either, & you did say you rescued her? Her previous home was likely not humid enough, &/or water bowl was lacking- that's why you got her with multiple eye-caps.
