    Help? Safe silicone?

My cat jumped on my snakes tank and I had to fix it with something. I had silicone lying around and fixed it with that and now I’m worried it wasn’t safe! I used this
Part of the screen bent down so I fixed it the best I could. But now I’m worried it’s toxic to my snake and even if it cures it’s going to be toxic.

Silicone surrounds your life. Your sink, your bathtub, cabinets... a ton of stuff has silicone. I wouldn’t worry too much about it, just make sure it’s dry

Since you are using a cage with screen top, it should be safe, as long as there is no smell from it (that indicates it's still drying). If you made the mistake of applying
it too thickly, it takes "forever" to dry because the outer part of the silicone dries first, sealing the inside & making it harder to off-gas & dry. So if you did that, the
only way I know of to remove it is physically...you'd have to scrape it off.
