Cheapest way to get Cypress mulch in the west.

So I have been looking for cypress mulch everywhere. No one carries it, and the cost is like 24 dollars for a bag. While in Florida I can buy it at $6 a bag. The cheapest way I found to get it is to order 2 bags of No Float Cypress Mulch from Ace Hardware. It comes to $35 for 2 bags with shipping. This is the cheapest I've been able to find anywhere. If anyone else has a different source please share!!

I’m always scared of stuff like that. They don’t have to worry to much if something is in there that’s not safe for ur animals. But idk if someone here has used it.
I’m just a bill sitting on top of capital hill.

I've never been fully confident in no float being only cypress and/or being only safe woods, but I've found it pretty regularly at Home Depot for garden use in TX. Especially during spring for gardening and stuff and you can get it for $2.50-3 per bag.

As long as it's 100% "natural organic" mulch I would imagine it would be safe to use.

I don't know if it is organic or if that impacts it really for my concerns either way, but I know that it used to be 100% cypress, but sometime in the last 4 or 5 years I think (by forum dating) people who called the company to confirm after seeing the bag say "cypress blend" found out it is an unknown blend of woods, predominantly cypress. Since they did not specify the woods when asked (even if by other people), I prefer to not test it in case some batches or regions add cedar or pine or whatever else might be toxic.

I've used it outside for gardens and find it to have very sharp edged pieces and have a lot of dusty shreds throughout that I bet would be messy in an enclosure or be dangerous to ingest by accident based on the size of the pieces for snakes like BPs.
