    Hide popper

Why does my ball python explode out of her hide? She will be in her hide and then all of a sudden her hide will go up and half her body will come out of half the hide and the hide ends up squishing her. Does this mean her hide is too small? She's done that twice in one day and she also ate that same day.

If the hide is light weight it is normal for them to lift them up and stick out slightly, they still think they are hiding and do just fine half sticking out. My little Crowley does it all the time even though he's got plenty of room inside the hide.
