    DIY vision cage dimensions

So I have an idea to make my own equivalent of a vision cage, using a 55 gallon tub. I have looked on this forum for ideal enclosure dimensions and, as expected the opinions vary a ton in terms of space. So I’m concerned as to whether this tub will be large enough for my male ball python, for possibly the rest of his life. The dimensions are 40 inches in length at the shortest point, tapering out to 42.5 inches. The width/depth is 20 inches and the height is 14 inches at the shortest point and goes up to roughly 18 inches.
Would this be enough space for an adult male ball python enclosure?
    Thanks for you help!

yes, that's enough space. those floor dimensions are greater than 30-something and 40-something quart tubs for adult BP's, so it would work. they don't need the head space but u are building a visual enclosure. Happy Pride and i hope your cage looks fab!
