    Late season ovulation

Lemonblast girl finally ovulated. Was beginning to think she wasn't going to go this year. She was paired with my Banana Champagne.

I just had a girl ovulate in the last couple days and I'm still hoping for 2 or 3 more. I don't understand why so many of my girls are late this year, they've been locking since November lol.

It's been a late season for me also and I started pairing Late October. However, Last year was a disaster of a season for me! I lost one girl and her entire clutch due to her becoming egg bound and even a trip to an experienced vet couldn't save her. Also had one girl slug out and several more not take at all. Only ended up with two clutches and of them only 4 eggs survived. I'll take a late season over that anytime! I've got 4 clutches in the incubator now and I'm expecting 6-7 more in the next month or so.

    Re: Late season ovulation

Same with my mojave girl, she ovulated late this year. I didn't think she would go for me again this time, last year she didn't go. Only had one clutch out of the 4 I paired in 2018.

She started refusing food and had a shed on the 2nd of this month. She looks gravid so I'm hoping she will lay in a few weeks, I paired her with the same male as last year (banana Enchi pastel)

My first clutch should be ready to pip anytime this week now too

Good luck! Can't wait to see what you get!

Thanks! She has really held her color since she's grown and has passed it on to her offspring. Here is a daughter from a past clutch I held back.

I thought I saw calico in there . That would of been my guess minus the spider, I'm not too familiar with pinstripe combos. She's very nice!
