    So sorry for your loss! No matter what pet it is, it is never an easy thing to have to say goodbye.

    i'm so sorry to hear this. i noticed that she just made the front page of TRR yesterday too. it's kind of a nice memoriam to share her beauty w/ the larger web: https://thereptilereport.com/lovely-nicaraguan-boa/

    So sorry for your loss Richard. Hopefully the last one for decades.

    I agree with Bogie, I really don't think it was the bark. Probably aspirated stomach acids into her lungs. It happens with many creatures, even humans.
    Many people don’t realize these dangers when wearing a breathing mask while sleeping.
    The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

    Hopefully it's my last for a while.
    I've also buried enough family members this year already, mothering law, and brother in law this year and I'm not looking forward to one of my gardening clients husbands funeral tomorrow either been doing his garden over ten yrs

    That's way too much all at once...so sorry for your losses. When loved ones are up in years or have been in poor health for a while, it doesn't come as such a shock,
    but we don't expect to lose family, friends or pets suddenly and when they're so young. That's just not fair... This snake was just a fluke situation...most snakes
    manage a regurge with nothing worse than digestive challenges for a while...this shouldn't have happened. Hugs...
