minimum enclosure size for an adult female ball python?

I have a 48" by 13" by 18" aquarium and was wondering if that is big enough or an adult female ball python.

I personally don't think the 13" depth is enough.

I have seen people turn the enclosure on its side and install a sliding glass door where the "top" of the enclosure is, making it a front opening enclosure.

This will give 18" of floor space rather than 13"

Personally I think you’ll be fine, long as your able to keep your husbandry on point. I see no reason why, it should be more than adequate. But I’m sure you’ll find a lot of differing opinions on this one.
