Female BP vs Male JxC Carpet Python Size?

Hey y’all, I just had a quick question! I don’t have a gram scale handy so I can’t really say for particular, but I know someone here will have an answer! I have a 7 foot Male JunglexCoastal Carpet Python 5 years old and a female cinnamon ball python. My question is, which will become the heavier snake? I’d say the Male CP is maxed out at 7 foot, but don’t know how much he weighs. My female BP I’d assume will get to 5-6 foot. Will the BP become the heavier snake since they are heavier bodied, or will the CP because they’re more muscular (semi-arboreal muskles)? Thanks!

Your female BP will likely top out closer to 5 feet. 6 footers are the exception to the rule.

That being said, your BP should also be all muscle. Snakes shouldn't have fat.

Lastly, because of the variance from one individual animal to the next, it's tough to say.

Grab yourself a $20 scale and find out for yourself. It's an important tool that every snake keeper should have anyway.

Like Craig said, each individual can be different, so no hard fast rule per se.

However, I can tell you that my 18 year old BP is significantly lighter than my 2 Seven foot JCPs and 3 eight foot CCPs all of which are adults as well. Look down in my signature line if you want to know the ages of the Carpets.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

I also think the carpet would be the heavier of the two.
