Ringers
Something occurred to me as a result of suddenly noticing a Ringer on my Mystic Girl.
Are Ringers always the marker for het Pied, or some other het, or can they occurr and not have any genetic connection at all.
I will post a pic of my Mystic Girl tonight. I am not aware of her having any other genetics in her makeup.

They can occur without any genetic link, some morphs (such as champagne) are more prone to them than others. But if you buy a possible het pied and find it has a ringer, that's usually seen as a good sign/marker, though it's not definite confirmation.

Ringers do not always mean het Pied , now when you breed het to het holding back animals with strong markers or ringers often pay off, however one should not buy an animal based on markers or ringers only as they do not always mean anything.

Re: Ringers
I think this is a ringer, I could not get a nice pic. It is a ring that goes around her body between the 3rd and 4th dots up fromvthevtail stripe. It is most noticeable when she is stretched out. I think that I have not noticed it before because she has those light brown markings, it only caught my eye last night because she was stretched out. At the same time, can someone confirm that she is a Mystic.

She is a mystic however ringers do not look like
That is a ringer granted the one toward the bottom is extreme however the one toward the top is what you would look for as far as smaller ringer

Thank You once again for some valuable information. I am happy though that she is a Mystic.
