    New Incubator!

So this breeding season has been going very well for me and I realized that I needed a bigger incubator. 4 out of the 7 females I paired this season have laid for me, with one possibly laying soon too, and just the 4 clutches alone filled my other incubator lol

Found this soda cooler on facebook marketplace for like $50 it don't work but that's just fine for what I need it for lol just need to order some heat and set it up

Also this is random but I found out that the couple who sold it to me also went to my high school back home in Michigan! I'm in South Carolina, they moved here 12 years ago and I did 11 years ago crazy lol

I don't know if you saw my post just a week or so ago about being excited to find one too lol. I have no idea how hard it would be to find one though, I just got lucky and saw a scrapper with one on his truck, it was in pretty great condition so I offered him $100, probably could of got it for less but i wanted it and i had to have him follow me to work where i could get it when i had my truck so i didn't want him thinking it wasn't worth his time. I'm super excited to have plenty of room now too

Definitely one of the best investments if you breed! I've had mine for several years now and I love it!

Yeah I saw your post you got lucky too lol was yours in working condition or no?

The original price was 100 for it but they dropped it to 50 the day before I went to get it.

Its gotta sit in my living room since it won't fit in my snake room lol damn built in pantry is in the way xD but that just means I'll be able to look at the eggs every day while sitting on my couch lol no biggie

I agree, I don't think I'll ever need another incubator again lol plus I have the two smaller cooler incubators I usually use too. Plenty of space

Are there any tutorials on here for setting one up? I think I know how but want to make sure I don't mess it up xD I want to put some LEDs in there too.

Next weekend I'm building another rack or 2 for hatchlings and yearlings+

You should be able to find something out on youtube or in the DIY section. I just ran 11" heat tape starting on one side, across the bottom and up the other side. Drilled hole in side to run the wiring (used caulking to seal hole after I ran the wiring). Connected the t-stat and of course the water bottles in the bottom to help keep temps when I need to open the door. I found a rechargeable LED light bar on Amazon that I use in mine. I used velcro tape to attach it. I just recharge it when I need to.
