Cool story, thanks for sharing. "they primarily exist in Ontario, Canada and Michigan’s Lower Peninsula" I live in Ontario, Canada and never heard of these living here, in fact I've been told by many people that we only have garter snakes. Maybe they are talking about the south end of Ontario, I just figured it gets way too cold here for the fancy snakes.
