    How to add a 2nd Thermostat to a VE-6

So I purchased a VE-6. I also purchased enough heat tape to put 3 of the tubs on 1 thermostat, and 3 of the tubs on a 2nd thermostat. I have done a ton of research on the rack system, but I want to control 3 tubs with 1 thermostat, and the other 3 tubs with another. Well actually the same thermostat, just with 2 ports. I got the Herpstat 2 Redline. I have been trying to figure out how to remove the tape that is already there, and how to install the 2nd set of tape. I know its hard to figure out without the rack in front of me, but I am doing my best to prepare for this rack ahead of time as much as I can. So anyone with the VE-6 how would you add a 2nd thermostat to it? I was thinking of just letting the plug hang out of the side where the hole is.
