    Egg tooth share

    Just wanted to share a picture of a hatchling ball python's egg tooth. I decided to try to get a picture and it worked, so for all those who are curious, here's what one looks like:

    With all the slits some of my snakes have made when hatching out, I coulda swore they carried switch-blades... Thanks for the great photo!

    Really cool, I always wondered what an egg tooth would look like. It's so tiny, somehow I expected it to be like a giant fang or something lol.

    Well, that's just the tip of the implement. If you were to open it's mouth you would find the rest of the multipurpose tool tucked away to avoid detection during inspection, lol.

    It tends to feel bigger than it is, too. I went searching for it because of this reason.
