Lots of amazing art here. I'm not much of an artist myself but I'll still show you all what I got because I like the concept of my "art" and maybe it will give people ideas and make something great out of it. I find my art is more like something a kid can draw. They are just corny pencil drawings with proportions that are probably way off. lol

Well here goes, these are drawings of what my ball python would look like as a dragon.

Next is a drawing of Shenron from Dragon Ball Z but with a normal ball python pattern. I've always said my ball python Crowley could grant wishes and I sometimes call him Crowlron.

Next is just a drawing of Crowley (I really wish I could draw like a real artist, oh well gotta start somewhere)

Next is a drawing of Crowley with a crown as he is a royal python.

And last is a little clay sculpture I made of a normal ball python, it's about 2 inches wide.

Hope you enjoyed my pathetic art, I tried. lol

    Re: Post your art here.

There are some really creative people here...that sculpture is adorable. I can draw well from a photo but if I'm drawing from my imagination it's definitely not as fancy.
I forgot I had this one from years ago..

And this is generally what it looks like if I'm just being creative

So many beautiful artists here!!! I'm so impressed!!! A lot of you have so much more skill than people I go to school with (an art school), I hope that means something to some of you.

I guess what I mean by that is y'all should be proud of your skills you've built! Take any chance of inspiration to channel it in your works, and you'll notice it'll just keep getting better. This applies to new artists too!!

i understand how most of creating artwork isn't about 'talent' it's about the journey you've gone through to develops your skills and get better. I can see how hard y'all have worked. This applies to artists just starting their journey too :)

sorry for long post, I just love art and supporting other people who do too. I might post my pieces someday, I do ceramics and I draw.

If you have anything appropriate to post here and is good to do so then feel free to do so.

Here is one of my writings. Forgive the spelling and grammar errors.

    The box.
    By
    Sky

    Act 1
    The wreck.

    (Enters the Jester)
Jester- "Michel enjoyed the fruit of the vine all hours of the day. Happy was he when his vision was blurred in a drunken stouper. Casual was his intent when tragedy fell on his actions that cost his salvation. The weapon of choice was an old dodge pickup. In his mirth he failed to notice Marry playing in the yard as he was driving home. The sequence was short but the consequence was great. Now lets us gaze on the place from which demons celebrate and angels weep."
    (Exit Jester)

(The curtain opens with a child lying in the street bloody and smashed. John runs out of his house in response to a scream. His eyes falls on Marry who now lies dead in front of Michel's old dodge pickup. John runs to access the fate of his daughter. After short inspections all is clear to him. A crowd gathers.)

John's soul was ripped apart as he fell to his knees in anguish for his loss. A dark seed marked him for the rest of his life, his pain a troublesome burden. He rose with purpose, his arms bearing what was once a cheerful child that now held the lifeless ragdoll. Those who looked upon him knew his fate and moved aside to let him pass caring what he loved so dear. In that moment the crowd was one with his sorrow.
Michel reached out for a second to comfort him but was cut by a glance that dug deep into his heart. This glance would not be easily forgotten, for his shame in taking part in this cursed act could not be undone. He was damned for his troubles. He knew that circumstance mattered not with the results of the day.
John loaded his daughter in his truck and headed off to the hospital. The very act of driving was torture for he already knew she was dead.
    (Exit John)

A mother - "Oh what sorrow has fallen this day, which someone so young should depart from this world. (Hugging her son by her side) If my son had been taken by such means my wrath would be as great as my pain. No parent should out live their seed."
    (Points finger at Michel)
A mother -"Repent from your careless mistakes and give up your arms to his house, for this day God himself has marked you in John's eyes and he will call upon you soon enough, and when he comes a calling no remorse will be enough to calm the storm. Go now and make good with thy maker. You will reside with him soon enough."
    (End scene.)

    Act 2
    The binding agreement.

    (Enter Jester)
Jester – "Happiness is a distant stranger to John's house. No more is the sound of a child's laughter upon his ears. Now only demons whisper themes of cruelty and wrath in John's head. Marry had been a light in his world when his wife had passed after a brief battle with cancer. She reminded him of his love for his wife. Marry's eyes carried a semblance of her mothers peace and beauty that now seams so foreign to John's life. Now insanity and grief drives motive to what happens next.
    (Exit Jester)

(Curtain opens. We see John sitting in a chair in a dimly lit room that is littered with neglect of a grieving father.)
(Tick, tock, tick, tock,…. A clock on the wall ticks away loudly in the quietness of the room.)
(John now is sitting on his couch thinking on the events of the past week. Marry dead. The funeral is done. His boss gave him some time off to think. Now only the clock on the wall remains to keep him company.)
John – "What cursed fate is upon my house? God has removed his hand from my head and twisted is my soul. Never more shall I look at a new day and rejoice in its coming. Remove me from this life so that I may join those whom I love in the next!"
(Enters Demon 1 and Demon 2)
    (Demon 1 whispers to John)
Demon 1 – "John? Is that you? It has been long since we have been friends. Companions we were when you were younger and chemistry had driven your actions instead of wisdom. What events bring forth your calling?"
John – "My calling? I do not ask for anything. Nothing that can be offered can change the past. Events have played true to the death of my house."
Demon 2 – "Tis true. No power can adjust what has been set aside. Tomorrow is what you must decide.
John - "Tomorrow? Oh how I hope tomorrow would not come.
Demon 1 – "But it will John. And the day after, and the next.
John – "Then I pray, rip me from this flesh. Tear out my heart so it will hurt no more!"
Demon 2 – "It is you that should be ripping the flesh of those who offend you in this mater. Accountable he must be."
John – "My will has left me with my daughter's cheek growing pail."
Demon 1 – "Then let us loan you our will and request what you would have us do and it will be done to your satisfaction."
Demon 2 – "For what we require for our service is minor compared to your grief."
    John – "Payment?"
    Demon 1 – "Aye, payment."
John – "My life is a tome that is bare? What could be offered to equate this deed?"
Demon 2 – "All that we ask is this, one day someone will come knocking on your door. Let him in and give him refuge for a day. The next day he will leave just as quickly as he came. No questions should be asked of this man. Only offer him a room and supper. Once gone, he will not return. In his possession will be a box. Do not look inside this box. Great dangers lay inside the box. Just feed, house, and grant him haste as he leaves."
John – "These matters seam simple enough."
Demon 1 – "Simple; in dead. Stray not from these instructions or your life will be forfeit, and great pains will be endured in your passing."
John – "Then go now and act upon my revenge. Cruelty and justice will guide the arrow that pierce his heard in the end!"
Demon 1 and 2 – "We will do as you ask!"
    (Exit demon 1 and 2)
John – "Soon, soon will justice be served and my house will be revenged."
    (End scene.)

    Act 3
    Twisted fate.

    (Enter Jester)
Jester – "A pact has been made! Grief and sorrow have driven out wisdom for hate. A visitor is on the horizon. The smell of death is once again in the air."
(Some time has passed and John has forgotten his meeting with the demons. Slow has been the recovery of his life to a semblance of normalcy or what could be obtained with an empty home. John hears a knock on the door. John opens it and there stands David.)
David – "May I enter? I was told you would be expecting me."
(David was a young man in his early 20s. He was wearing a cheap suit and caring a wooden box. The box looks old and has some symbols on it that John could not recognize.)
    John – "Sure come in."
("John opens the door and escorts David to the couch and offers him a seat. David sits down and places the box on the coffee table.")
David – "I am in need of a place to stay for the night. In my box is a great treasure to me and me alone and I wish to keep it safe for the night. Tomorrow I will be on my way and will trouble you no more. What say you?"
(John sits back in his recliner.)
John – "Do as you like. The house is empty. Don't expect much hospitality for there is little in the icebox but you are welcome to what I have. "
David – "Then I will trouble you no more. I am tired and will be heading to bed. Thank you for housing me this night."
(David leaves the room. The box remains on the coffee table.)
John – "This stranger came just as the demons foretold. Here is the box that its contents are hidden. Tempted am I now. What would it hurt to look at the outside and not peer in? The demons warned only to its opening."
    (John picks up the box.)
John – "What is the meaning of these symbols? The box looks old. I see no lock. There is no place for a key."
(John puts the box down and grabs a bear from the fridge. After watching TV for a few minuets John's attention is drawn back to the box.)
John – "What mysteries this box must hold. David seamed normal enough other than the fact that he knocks on stranger's doors and seeks refuge. Drugs maybe? I will not have that poison in my house! What could he be hiding in that box that would drive him into circumstances such as this? The demons told me to ignore my desire to open the box. Demons can't be trusted. They are full of lies and deceit. Surely if it is the will of demons that the box should not be open, the box must be opened.
I saw on the news the other day that a man was arrested for hiding a bomb in his shoe. Could this contain a bomb? I must know what is inside that box!"
(John leans in and picks up the box. He tilts it from side to side then looks on the bottom where he sees an inscription. "Warning! The contents of this box changes according to the person who opens it! Some see great joys. Others see great sorrows. What you see is driven by the condition of your soul. Open at your own risk! Once opened your life will forever be changed. If one wishes to, open simply prick your finger and touch the circle on the top of the box with a drop of your blood and the box will know you and reveal what is inside.")
John – "What magic is this? No one with reason would believe such silly things."
David – "I did not believe either."
(John looks up to see David behind him.)
David – "I opened the box myself. I will not tell you what I saw but I will tell you this. The inscription is true. After you open the box it will belong to you. There will be no way to be rid of it. I tossed it out one afternoon and the next day it was on the nightstand by my head. I mailed it to a random address. The next day I nearly killed myself tripping over it as I was leaving for work. This box has been with me for the past five years. Open if you like but it will be yours when you are done. Are you sure you want to know what is inside?"
John – "Was it worth looking inside?"
David- "That question is meaningless. What you will find will not be the same as what I found."
John – "Then I will see what is hidden within this mystery box of yours."
(John pricks his finger and smears the blood on the circle on top of the box. The seal is broken. John looks to ask David a question, but David is no where to be found. David had disappeared. The scene closes with John looking in the box…)
