    Anyone excited for Good Omens?

I could have sworn I saw someone on here with a snake named Crowley haha

Just a fan of Pratchett's work in general too- anybody have a favorite Discworld book? Reaper Man might be mine...

I'm the one with the snake named Crowley. He is named after Crowley from the show Supernatural.

I read the book ages ago but had no idea there was a series being made until I saw this thread.

Man I tried very hard to get into SPN back in the day but gave up after like 3 seasons. :p Maybe someday when I have nothing to do I'll revisit it

I'm excited! I just finished reading American Gods because I liked the show so much, but the book was a disappointment for me. I think having read the book and what's there so far of the show...the two definitely augment each other, but the book on it's own was a bit of a choppy mess. I'm hesitant to read another Gaiman book now, but I know I'll be tempted once I start watching Good Omens.

I had no idea what this was until I read your post and looked up the trailer. I thought it looked fun and interesting and then I saw who was playing War and I was all in. I have such a crush on Mireille Enos. I thought she was great in the other Prime series, Hanna.

So, to answer your question - Yes, I'm excited for Good Omens.

    thanks, I needed that!

And I had to go look up Good Omens, it sounds like an interesting premise. Thanks (OP) for the head's up.

I've seen the commercials a few times over the past few days. I'm not into sci-fi and fantasy AT ALL, but that show actually looks pretty good.
