    I managed to stock up on some items over the past few weeks. I bought a 30 Watt heat mat, a thermostat, a thermometer with 3 probes (2 temperature, 1 humidity) and some LED-lights.

    Today I tried installing it all and I took some pictures while I was busy. The heatmat is on the bottom with the thermostatprobe between the mat and the enclosure.

    I also got a tempgun, which is not in the pictures).

    Right now I don't have any substrate yet. I'm just running the enclose with a waterbowl inside to see what the humidity is. What is the best place to put the humidityprobe?

    Substrate will definitely affect the humidity levels one way or the other. It’s worth having it in there to dial it in, at least when it gets closer to “snake time”
