I’m the same way. I got two boys because they don’t get that big. Now I’m looking at females or boas because they are a little bigger lol. Guess I had to get comfortable with them before I got a bigger one

Hahaha! I'd have a lot of trouble wrangling a snake THAT big for photoshoots! Luckily, the above couch - as well as this one here -

    - are just artfully upholstered jewelry boxes. The BPs seem to find them pretty comfortable, honestly. Over the course of the photo session, Iggy gradually expanded sideways until he'd pushed all the jewelry pieces off and was just lounging on his own, so I let him relax there while I was putting everything else away.

Thank you for the encouraging words! I've got a little bullet point list of other photo ideas I'd like to try down the line, though success level may vary. Lucky for me, at least ball pythons will usually hold still for poses; I imagine I'd be struggling a lot more if I was trying to get colubrids to cooperate!

This is like the Laurel Burch "back pack" that I have for slinging snakes on a shopping trip, lol... how could I resist?

I have some of her snake jewelry too, a necklace with multiple snake 'drops' & earrings (that I don't wear) to match.

We'd better watch out, or we'll be checking out burms and retics next!

Love the metallic accents! Darn it, this definitely makes me want to look for an everyday-use bag that has a cool snake design on it.

Or you can get some fabric paints & add your own...snakes aren't very complicated to draw.

I have a large carry-all for my gear that I take to the pool...I got some fabric paint and added a happy green water snake to the front of the black bag, lol.

(btw, I couldn't find a pic of the L.B. purse that I have for "everyday use"- but it's far less obvious, not her usual bright colors, more coppers/browns on
beige, with lizards & all kinds of animals, not just snakes.)

Aha, I like the way you think. Customized/personalized snake bags! The "happy green water snake" sounds so cute!
