    Eastern Indigo Skull

Thought some people here might find this interesting - I recently got this hatchling eastern indigo skull off of a local breeder, who’s also a skeleton articulator and cleaned it when the baby was lost to unknown reasons. I collect skulls in the first place AND drymarchon is my favorite genus, so I was doubly excited to get ahold of it. I’ve never looked that closely at a snake skull before so the teeth rows and anatomy is fascinating.

Sadly I can’t get good detail shots since it’s so small and I don’t have a macro lens for my phone; it’s only as long as one digit of my finger. But here’s some less satisfying pictures if anyone wants to see it.

    0.1 snow corn snake “Saturn”
    0.1 normal ball python “Sable”
    0.1 mexican black kingsnake
    .
0.2 brown tabby cats “Schrödinger” and “Schneider”
0.1 piebald Tennessee Walking Horse “Sweetie”
