    Facebook rescue groups

I live in the Portland metro area and I’m wondering if there are any reptile rescue groups for my area on Facebook? I would like to adopt a snake and give it a good home rather then buy one from a breeder. I looking for specifically BCI’s, can someone help me out? Thanks.

i can't help ya except to say make sure they are a non-profit, proof of being a 501c3 or similar. lots of "rescues" are flippers. just like people that want to "rehome" their reptiles when they actually mean sell it for full retail price.

    Re: Facebook rescue groups

The Pacific Northwest Herpetological Society covers your area and they are a legit 501c3 rescue.
