    Bioactive boa constrictor

I just bought a boa constrictor imperator that weight 660g he is 4 yo,i was wandering if i feed him a 50-89 grams rat onece a month he is gonna poop one a month right? So is it possible to make a bioactive enclosure with isopods and springtails and is the colon going to survive if i "feed it" just one a month?

You can make a bioactive enclosure, but that is unrelated to any feeding regime. Are you asking if the isopods and springtails will survive off that poop? They could, but I prefer to spot clean, so there's not poop laying around. They don't need the poop to survive. They can eat dying plant matter, such as if a leaf falls off a plant or if you put leaf litter in the substrate. Among other things within a bioactive enclosure.

Correct. They love biodegradables: leaf litter, bark, etc. Plus I'd recommend some live plants.
