    great british baking show

i LOVE this show. i only discovered it recently but i've seen every episode. the new season is out and in the first 2 episodes there were already 2 or 3 snake cakes, a tortoise and a tarantula. one of the bakers is a vet and proofs her bread in her ball pythons enclosure. seems to be a very reptilian season!

I've watched previously but not lately. The latest episodes you're describing sound awesome, lol...& you can't have too many "snake-cakes"!

My wife also loves that show and watches it a lot. Me, I find it OK. Not a lot of cussing, violence or nudity at least. LoL I watch it cause she does. You can learn a lot about baking by watching it I reckon. I asked my wife yesterday. What does proofing mean? I said is that like putting in yeast or baking powder and letting it rise. She told me yeah that's what it means. I had heard it talked about on the show a lot, and finally figured out what they were talking about. That is how much i really payed attention to it. To be honest I mostly just look at the women and pick my favorite pretty one to keep an eye on.

That brings up another thought. I wonder how many of us have to watch the TV shows our "Boss" spouse makes us watch. ( I only have one TV ) and I watch that through the computer (and a cable provider TV and internet subscription) and a HDMI cord, which means the computer is tied up too. Good thing I have other hobbies like weight lifting, reading or sleeping I can do.

I pretty much get to be on the computer when my wife is sleeping. I hear her snoring now. Soon as she wakes she'll boot me off this thing.

PS Paul seems like a snake guy.

we don't have a TV boss unfortunately. we each have our own shows and then we have together shows, usually about 3 at a time we rotate through. we don't have cable, only netflix and prime. currently we're watching better call saul, the OA and van helsing. next up is stranger things season 3 and probably the new TWD that was just release on netflix, always a season behind, just like american horror story.

Better call saul's and van helsing are good shows. Have you seen the 100, and lockup? The spanish lockup, not the american show. What is the OA?

i have not see the 100 or lockup. the OA is a crazy hard to explain inter-dimensional travel show.

I love the great British bake off and watched it from the vey start

I thought it was only me who picked the pretty one as their favourite lol

It was Helana the Spanish goth for me this year but sadly she was let go a couple of weeks back.
