Re: New Addition - 2018 Hypo Bredli

Oz has been hanging out in his warm hide for the past two days, which is very uncharacteristic of him. Heís also looking a little dull. I have a feeling he is about to go into blue. Weíll see!

    Aaaaand my suspicions were correct.

Canít wait to be able to update with his post-shed pics. I donít think Iíve been been so excited for a snake to shed. I am sure his colors are gonna pop!

Re: New Addition - 2018 Hypo Bredli

Today is Ozís first birthday! It was an absolutely beautiful day (high of 83* - which is cool for Georgia in July!) so I took him out to let him explore and get some commemorative pics.

He is growing nicely. 194 grams at his most recent weigh-in. He is flighty in his cage but a doll once he is out. He met his first human child today while he was outside and he acted as curious and calm as ever, showing no signs of defensiveness or aggression. To the kidís credit, they were very gentle and respectful as well.

    WOW!!

One of my favorite carpet species.

I love the look of that snake. There are only 3 snakes on my wish list and the Bredli is one of them.

Re: New Addition - 2018 Hypo Bredli

Oz was looking particularly radiant today. One of the cool things about the hypos is that they fire up and down, sort of like Beardies and Cresteds. Iíve heard Papuan Carpets do this as well.
