    BCI vs BCC

In the next month or two I’m gonna be getting my first boa and can’t decide between Columbian or other localities.

Well, what are your concerns and preferences? How much space do you have?

    Re: BCI vs BCC

I'd say that BCC are somewhat less tolerant to husbandry errors but if you can keep one you can keep the other. It's all about attention to detail and learning from your mistakes.

    BCI vs BCC

I have enough space that I can house up to about a 10’ boa I don’t have many concerns just can’t decide between BCI or BCC

If the husbandry and size of the snake aren't issues then it's just a matter of which you like best visually. I'm more partial to BI myself.
    3.0 Carpet Pythons, 1.1 Bullsnakes
1.0 Olive Python 1.0 Scrub Python,
    1.0 BI, 0.1 BCO

I’ve always been partial to BCI’s but there is a soft spot for me with Guyana and Surinames as well

Bcc are a bit more sensitive to overfeeding and have a seemingly slower metabolism. They also seem to prefer higher humidity and are less tolerant of temp extremes. (Mine always seemed to shun heat over 86 or so and temps under 75).

Thank you for the personal experience input glad I know that cause for a little bit my boa will be sharing a thermostat with my ball pythons
