Quick RHP question?
Just want to check myself on my RHP setup. I have my RHP on the hot side of the enclosure and the thermometer right under it runs right at 88. The cool side thermometer runs 79-80. These are air temps. I was reading a couple of discussions on surface vs air temps and wanted to check on things to make sure.

If you want to keep a BP, it sounds that your temps are correct. RHPs, at least in my experience, are great at creating a nice even temp gradient, after a little fiddling to dial it in just right.
It sounds like you don't have a temp gun, handy thing. You probably want to have one, it will measure surface temps where as your typical thermometers will just measure ambient air temps. My suspicion is that if you measure the surface temp of the substrate under the RHP, you'll find it is 91 or so.
Typically, if the ambient temps are good, then the surface temps take care of themselves.

Yes, this is for my BP. Sorry I should have said that.
I do have a temp gun, and you are right, surface temp averages about 91, although it is a little more variable than air temp, depending on where I am measuring.
