Here is my dude Tofu. he has 3 legs so i got him as pet-only from a breeder. he is about 3 years old. thinking he may need a tank upgrade as he's had a growth spurt.

Re: Axolotls
Cute dude!
Shouldn't his leg have grown back since he is an axie?
I've got 2 of them myself, but have never had any missing limbs, so I haven't seen the regeneration in action.

I have two of them also! They are so funny! They have a weird personality. As for the leg missing if he was a defect in birth then no it wouldn’t grow back, but if it was just bit off when he was younger then yes.

I hadn't heard of that before. Makes sense. Birth defect would mean no genetic code to recreate the leg from.

I love axolotls, I actually almost bought one the other day but I'm not a fan of feeding bugs which they eat. The reason I love em so much is because they kinda look like murlocs from World of Warcraft which were my favorite creatures from that game.

Mine get both salmon pellets and worms and are happy to eat them either way.

Re: Axolotls
mine did black worms when little...hated those things. i will never have a juvi again. Tofu eats "carnivore" pellets...the irony.
