I'll change his heating pad to one I can control and insulate the glass, sometimes it gets up to 90 but only if i have a room heater on so ill move him to his own room. Thanks for the advice!

That's another very common reason for snakes to get "moody"...and they feel (know that) a shed is coming before it's obvious to us. How is he now?

He's Doing so well! I have the cage a little more insulated and temp has been perfect!
He has been so sweet since the shed.
I'm gonna try feeding him a baby chick this week to switch up his diet.

Happy to hear it. One thing about "switching up the diet" of a BP...be sure that what you offer you'd be fine with offering from now on. Sometimes they don't want
to go back...some BPs can be very finicky about their food, so they aren't the easiest snakes to offer variety.
