Re: KSB male or female?
From the angle of the picture the tail looks short and fat = female. I'm not a ksb expert tho so hopefully someone else chimes in here.

Thanks! I'm pretty much 50/50 Right now. Either way, I've got bigger enclosures in storage if it turns out to be a female. So my main reason for asking is for naming purposes.
Thanks again.

Re: KSB male or female?
So, this is not my area of expertise, but I asked a similar question about male/female KSBs a few months back and got the following in replies from Deborah. Not sure if this helps you much, but thought I'd put it in the thread anyway. Maybe she will chime in with a reply based on the picture for you.
"If the animal is over 20 inches and 200 grams it's most likely a female, males usually max out at about 18 inches and 200 grams."
When asked about how big females get:
"400 to 600 grams is a very good weight but I have seen bigger, size wise they are very similar to Hognose.
The 100 grams male it's the ideal weight for a male to start breeding but they get slightly bigger, though they still look ridiculously small next to a nice mature female."
Here is the thread it came from for context:

Female?
From that angle it looks like a female but it would be easier to tell if you had a pic looking straight down at the tail laid flat.
