    New Cserpents Rack

In all the craziness the last few weeks, I forgot to show everyone the rack that arrived from Cserpents.

Delivery was 13 business days after I ordered, and this was DURING the NARBC show in Chicago.

The rack is a V-70 with 33’’ tubs. It came fully assembled and pre-wired with flexwatt. The only thing I needed to do was take the back off, run the probe for the thermostat, replace the back, and plug it in. Super easy and super awesome!

The thermostat is a VE-200 from Reptile Basics that I’ve had for a few years. It’s currently set at 94 directly on the flexwatt and that seems to be keeping even the cool side at a steady 80 degrees (with a little help from a heater in the room since my hubs like a chilly house).

Kaa is currently the only inhabitant and he was cruising this evening... I think he appreciates the extra space but it’s quite a bit bigger than he’s used to. I’ll see how he eats this coming week and perhaps put in a hide or two.

Sorry for the dim lighting - the lights in there suck at the moment and the sun is going down.

Bonus picture of Charlie, the beardie.

Looks good. I considered that same rack for a bit but couldn't manage the room temp so went with a build.

I have the same rack but with 5 tubs. I’ve been happy with mine. I use two hides in each tub for security.
