    not eating

I got a lemon blast from dynasty reptiles March 1st. It said on the card the last meal was a week prior. A f/t Hopper. I got it. Put it in the tub in the rack. Left it alone for a week. Have tried feeding it a f/t Hopper every week for 3wks. It doesn't even look interested. Gave it a live hopper this week. It killed it but still doesn't eat. Temp is set to 94 on thermostat with 69% humidity. Have another lemon blast I got in February. The first 3 f/t feeding tries, it refused. But has ate every try since. Gave it a live hopper it's last meal also. It killed and ate it. So what else is there to try on this other one that won't eat?

Just keep trying weekly, and I'd lower the temps a tad bit if it were me. Are you giving the snake hides, what kind of substrate. Need a bit more information.

There is a need for more info regarding the enclosure from it's size to substrate to hide, but at first glance lower your temps 94 is just too hot aim for 88/90 at the most.

For the rest it's about trying to be as close to the breeder's setup as possible.

Also how many f/t meals did the snake have with the breeder?

The tubs are 22x14x5. Substrate is paper towels. They have those dome hides. And a medium (5.5") dog water bowl since they are heavier. That one feeding on the feed card was all that Chun sent. Know it can't be true if it was born in August of 2018. Either didn't keep feeding records, or something. Unless it was the first time it ate all year. And is just fasting again. But haven't asked about that.

Well that is where you start contact the breeder ask how many times the animal ate, ask how it was kept (tun size and substrate)

The breeder you get an animal from should always be your first stop.

A 2018 animal should be eating right now.

I asked Chun. He told me what temps he keeps all his at. Apparently the 94 setting was too high. Told him I turned it down to 90. Now it will run between 88-90 now. And will try to feed again around Wednesday. And got a new one in today. So will just try them all on Wednesday. The one I know will eat. Hope for the best on the other two.ⁿ
