my special needs guy P. Sherman

We got this guy from a lovely breeder that spoils the heck out of her baby dragons. He seems to have been born with some sort of condition that makes him unable to use his legs properly. He can still scoot around but he is the worst eater ever. He was really touch and go for a while so I hesitated to name him but we've figured out he'll eat anything if you pop it in his mouth.

I am familiar with it. We give him calcium supplements, which he has also had since birth and proper lighting. It is super rare to be born with MBD....if mom was deficient more siblings would have been affected I gather.

He's a true "pocket pet" and still cute anyway. Reminds me of the puppies born with "swimmer's syndrome" on the tv series "Pit-bulls & Parolees".

I wonder if you could "train" him (using physical therapy) to use his legs the way they did with those pups...? Labor intensive for sure, but who knows?
Well, all the best, whatever works...he's lucky to have you on his side.
