    GHI project ideas

Okay so I have a male GHI Pastave Fire (66% het clown) and a pastel female so far. What else would go well with them?

I would try to prove out the clown in him. GHI Mojave is gorgeous.

You have (2) Options right now. Being responsible to your genetic profile I think is important if you're going to be selling or getting rid of any designer snakes, so the first thing I suggest is that you figure out a way to prove if your boy is Heterozygous for Clown or not.

The cheapest way to do this would be to purchase a 0.1 Homozygous Clown girl and breed him to her. This gives you a whole smattering of animals that no matter what will be 100% het Clown (with 3 possible incomplete dominant addon genes) and the chance of producing a clown with a kicker gene.

Second option is to ignore the clown and breed them together, but I wouldn't.

50% hets are an odd place to be, but you could breed your male to female and get that smattering, but I'd want to know if the male was a Het or not myself before doing much more planning.

If you can swing (2) clowns, a 1.0 Heterozygous Pastel Homozygous Clown would be a a great pairing for your female too, especially if you get a female clown and the male proves to be Heterozygous.
