Sorting Multiple Genes?
When naming the genes in a ball python, is there an order? For example, if I had a Pastel Mojave Fire GHI, would it be called "firefly mojave GHI" or "pasave Fire GHI"? Is there even a specific arrangement?

I personally would rather have the specific genetics listed than whatever the "designer" name for the combo is. I keep on top of genes, not whatever fancy name you think makes your animal sell best.
I've also taken to listing my animals or discussing my animals explicitly as Heterozygous or Homozygous instead of any other commonly used terminologies. I just grow tired of having to track down the genetic combos on every snake.
Best,
Paul

It is personal preference. I hate the nick-names. For me: The 'bee' morph names are annoying:
Bumble Bee
Cali Bee
Honey Bee
Humble Bee
Queen Bee
Killer Bee
Stinger Bee
Wanna Bee
Zebra Bee
(etc etc)
My friend asked if I was going to produce an Inferno Zebra Bee this year-and I really wanted to slap him...

I agree the names have gotten out of control but stuff like a purple passion is something that I see instead of using the genes. But if I were selling I’d make sure to list the genes involved. It annoys me when looking at bells and they don’t list the morphs that made it

I use nicknames just because some snakes have so many genes involved that it would be tedious to list them all in a sentence.
