    Allergic??

I would like to breed ASF's for my ball pythons. I am alergic to rats. When their claws touch my skin I break out. Am curious if this would happen with ASF's as I'm fine with mice. Also if anyone has any asf's near dayton ohio please pm me as I would like to test this out.

If it's just their claws, try wearing gloves to handle them.

I've also heard that ASF's are a lot harder to breed, so if your BP likes rats, you might want to think twice about switching him to ASF's.

Not only are they harder to breed, they a the spawn of evil and great escape artist and not what they are cracked up to be (my BP would never eat them when I had some a long long time ago)

As far as allergies, I recommend wearing medical gloves with feeders, it made the difference for me.

From what I've researched so far agression or lack there of tends to be inherited. So I would only buy asf's I could handle.

Guess will just have to roll dice on the allergies part and use gloves if need be.

Will be a few months before I can get things set up so it's f/t till then. Shipping charges are astronomical though so eventually want to switch to breeding my own feeders.
