    For your age I seem to have a good head on you. I was a lot like u when I was young. I like that u ask questions and do your homework before u jump into anything. Most people your age buy it and wait till the animal is about to die before reading anything about how to care for it properly!

    thank you! unfortunately i learned that lesson when i was 10 and relied only on care sheets when purchasing a redfoot tortoise.. big regret. forums are a much more reliable source. plus recently ive become interested in bioactive which heavily relies on proper care and husbandry so its kinda become second nature to me to learn as much as possible before hand and to cross reference multiple sources to make sure the info is correct. but unfortunately with southerns its really hard given how rare they are in the hobby

    if i get a southern or eastern ill be going through Kevin Fisher, if i get a western morph ill be going through Jeff Galewood (aka JMG Reptiles), tricolor i havent found a breeder or done research as they were just added to the list today
