    Re: New Snake Day! MBK

She is so fast and darty. Always cruising around the enclosure and burrowing. Lots of attitude as well. I gave her a large fuzzy this afternoon and she mauled like she hadnt eaten in weeks. It's been a while since I had such a small snake.

Aside from feeding her last weekend and changing water I haven't been bothering her. She is all over her enclosure and seems to be adjusting well. I'll get another couple meals in her and see how she reacts to handling. So far so good!

I held her for the first time tonight. She did pretty well. Didn't bit me or musk on me. She seems to be settling in well. I did switch out her substrate from reptile prime to aspen so I could see her better. When she comes out of quarantine she will go in a T3. cant wait!!!

    Looking cute.

I use contrasting substrate depending on snakes colour. They’re probably cursing at us for reducing their camouflage ability.
