    Penelope progression thread...

Introducing Penelope, the lesser. She's about 2-2.5 years old per her prior owner, so I'm calling it 2016 for hatch year. I picked her up on 3/2/19 with Claude. She's usually pretty curious, though she was content to just chill when I took her out this weekend to check her over and snap a few pictures.

The prior owner had said they were both overdue for feeding when I picked them up, so I gave her a couple of days to settle in and offered on 3/5. She had just shed that day, but had no hesitation at all. I just fed her again tonight, f/t weanling rat, and again no hesitation.

    Re: Penelope progression thread...

A shed, two successful meals, and a poop. She's settling in well, but was feeling shy tonight. I held her for about 5-10 minutes after cleaning her tub, not moving much other than to get a few pictures. Just letting her get used to me and learn that she isn't going to get hurt or eaten. She finally relaxed and explored a bit before I put her back in her tub. I'll do this for a while before I start keeping her out for longer periods.

Penelope's new paint job after a fresh she'd. I swear I think she gets prettier after each shed.
