    My first ball python!

Hello all. After years of keeping leopard geckos & bearded dragons I am awaiting the arrival of my first snake. Specifically a male banana / cinnamon. Let me know what you think of him & his future home. Hopefully it warms up soon so he can be shipped safely. I will be adding a CHE to help maintain the temp. The UTH isn't keeping up. .

Congrats. You might want to work on your set up a bit as I'm sure others will chime in. Smaller hides, paper or covering around 3 sides. Dual thermometers for both your hot and warm sides. How is it heated? Humidity level? Maybe even a smaller set up for the first 6 months or so. BTW, how old is your snake?

I actually just asked for his exact age & weight this morning but haven't heard back yet. I believe he's 4-6 months. There are currently 2 thermometers & I have since covered the 3 sides. Humidity is between 50-60. It looks big in the photo but it's only a 20 long. There's a UTH but I'll be adding a CHE on a thermostat.

Just got a call from BHB. He’ll be here Wednesday 3/13! I’m so excited, I’ve wanted one of these guys for years.

Here’s the revised setup. My second thermostat will be here tomorrow. Temps are looking good. Humidity is low when the humidifier isn’t running but perfect when it is. 3 more days & he’ll finally be here!
