    Mini Moo’s

Well today was a busy day. Got some fabulous help from some amazing friends getting a good start on our barn(we'll post that later) and then we went and picked up our small herd of Dexter cattle. Introducing
Kindred farm Moses Jr - dun bull 8 months old
Ginger- red cow (mom to burger)
Burger- little black bull calf (soon to be steered)
    Jolene- black heifer probably pregnant.

All 4 have settled in nicely and got right down to munching on hay and some cubes.

About four or five years ago Lindsay took me to a pumpkin patch with a petting zoo. I instantly fell in love with there miniature cow they had. So this has been in the works for along time!

    Re: Mini Moo’s

Very cool! One of my coworkers just added a mini dairy cow to her farm in the last year or so. I had never heard of them before that. Neat to see others with them.

Really great! The girls have come around and seem to get excited when we get home.(they know it’s dinner time) We still have to work on the boys.
We got the barn finished, and Lindsay horse Olympia is now at the farm. She’s twice there size. Everyone gets along just fine .
    I’m really enjoying farm life!

This is MJ our bull. We just love how fuzzy he is!

This one is Burger, he’s our steer.

This is Joleane, she is the queen of the pasture.

Last but not least this is Ginger, she is our sweetest cow. She loves her scratches!

Good lord i miss living on property!! I was way into rock climbing, and white water kayaking to get involved with ffa but I helped my best friend almost every day raising his cows chickens and goats. Then I had a long time girlfriend that had 20+ horses that I helped daily with and it was a great time! My daughter just turned 11 and she is about to get a horse of her own that I can put on a family property! So yeah I’m jealous of ur setup!!

thank you for sharing! they are all so cute. i love their size contrast to the horse! we just bought a small farm so i am very interested to see others' setups and what they're keeping. we brought home 8 pullets last night and i planted 158 seedlings yesterday. we are finally feeling a bit like farmers.

I resonantly bought 8 chickens and 2 ducks, I really am enjoying the chickens. Wish I would of gone the pullers route. The ducks are a kinda messy lol we moved them out to the pond because they kept flooding the brooder.
