    Male or Female?

Hey this is my first post on here! Was just wondering about my ball python's weight : He's roughly around 5 months old but he's 302g ? Is he just a large male or could he possibly be a female? He just seems quite big compared to alot of other people's males who r about the same age X

Size can vary quite a bit between animals. Size at hatching, whether they were quick or slow to start feeding, frequency of feeding, and size of prey all play into it. Forgot to mention, genetics also play a part.

Size is irrelevant and vary greatly at that age, first thing you do when buying an animal is double check the sex (chances that someone would sell a banana female as a male are very slim and usually sexing mistakes are the other way around males sold has females)

    Male or Female?

I have a male that’s 398g at 5 months so I wouldn’t say he’s too big. Genetics, weekly feeding, etc are making males larger than normal.
