    What scales do you use?

I can’t find any decent scales. Would like to see which ones you use so I’ve got more of an idea on which one to get.

Re: What scales do you use?

I just use a regular kitchen scale. It measures in grams. And has to be as close as any $30-$40 dollar scale. And only cost me $11.99 on e-bay.

I put the snakes in a pillowcase and use some digital spring scales

I have a $15 food scale from Walmart. I zero out a plate or bowl and then put the snake on it!

Think it was less than $20. Bought it to weigh bicycle parts and now it weighs snakes as well.

I currently have a kitchen scale I got at Wal-Mart. It was around $20 if I remember correctly.
As my snakes get bigger its tougher to use due to the size of the plate. I'm ordering one like the one @Zincubus shared soon.

It’s the only way I can weigh my 7’ Snow Boa

Seemed so easy I do it for them all now , especially the faster King snakes etc

Zinc, you're the man! I'm going to find something similar here in the States. I haven't been able to weigh my Boa, but this will definitely do it.
    Thanks for posting it, brother.

I’ll just get one of them they’re easy enough to find.

I couldn’t handle having snakes that grow that big. I’ll just stick with my bp for now .
