    Post feed stuff

I made an attempt to feed Syd on Thursday he refused.
Had another go of feeding him today but he didn’t go for it whilst I had been holding it with tongs, so I left it in the viv in front of his hide just to see if would take it (would have had substrate on it, eco earth). (F/T)
So I checked before an he’d just finished it. Whilst I was watching him for a few minutes before he was doing the normal thing of yawning several times to realign his jaw.
He was also rubbing his face across the log between each yawn, I’ve never really notice him do this before mainly because I don’t sit and watch him eat.
Do any of your BPs do this?
Or could it just be that there was a fair amount of substrate on the rat an he’s trying to down it?

I have my collection in my main living area, I see a lot of similar behavior, aligning and an occasional rub of their face across the outside of their water dishes (big zoomed “rock” corner bowls) as if further aligning them. I would not be concerned at all with this behavior, even more so after feeding. But that’s my opinion, I hope it helps.
