Wiring in glass, screen-top tanks

I have been looking for some alternative options to run wires in my glass tank as my BP likes to climb on them. My biggest concern is him moving temperature probes. My current setup has 4 inbound wires (2 thermostat temperature probes, air line, and a DHT22 [would like to add 2 more of these for more accurate remote monitoring]).

How is everyone managing wires for glass? I plan on getting a PVC enclosure at some point, so management will be easier, but I am trying to make due with what I have for now.

Really nothing you can do about the wires. I cleaned the glass with alcohol where my temp probe would go and then I used 100% silicone to hold the probe down. It stayed that way for about a month until I bought a rack system.

The thermostat probe goes OUTSIDE the enclosure sandwiched between the UTH and the glass.

Plus, wiring isn't a great option for climbing, it can act as a noose.

I never said it wasn't for the UTH. But there still seems to be a necessity for wires inside the tank, which I am trying to find a solution to manage said wires. I have to use a CHE to keep ambient temperatures up inside the tank. The one wire for the DHT22 is very short currently (2" inside the tank), so I only get readings at the upper level for air/humidity; however, I would like to change that to 2 on the lower level (automated monitoring/reporting/logging). If I had something like an AP T8/10, it would be easy to just drill through and mount directly where I need with no exposed wiring.

Decorate the tank with a foam background and sides. The wires run behind the foam. Probes stick out the foam to monitor levels. That’s what I did.

I should have done a DIY type post for it but I was in a hurry. Basically the sides and back are made of insulation board. You can buy it at Lowe’s or Home Depot. A 4x8 foot sheet of it is under $20 from what I remember. The skull and rocks are made from a type of rubbery styrofoam that was being thrown away where I work. It’s the type of styrofoam that is used to protect electronics when they are shipped, not the dry brittle type. I pretty much just drew the skull out and carved it into shape. Same with the rocks.

After that, I used non toxic acrylic paint and my airbrush to paint them. Sealed them with a water based acrylic sealer and it was done. All together I might have $40 in the whole thing.
