    If you had to buy a trio and breed them, what would you choose.

    If you had the proper equipment, money, skill, and good reason to...… What would you pick to breed? Species? Morph? etc.....

    Why?

    For me it would be Neon Blue Garter snakes. Why? Endangered and would try to breed with the intent of repopulation of the wild.

    They are one of my favorite snakes.
    While noble I doubt that would be allowed *(generally programs are managed and not individuals plus the threat of introducing non-native bacterial, fungal and parasite issues to the native pop). The greatest threat to the SF Garter is habitat destruction (they live in very small pockets along the very heavily populated coast).

    My dream trio, and possible future project when I pair down from snakes - are Varanus beccarii (black tree monitor) although I'd probably try to get a trio of black and trio of green Varanus prasinus.
    Maybe one day.

    I would love a breeding trio of Eastern Indigo snakes. Unfortunately there is this thing called a mortgage that must be paid.
