    Killer post, Matt.

Keep these sort of things coming (I smell a sticky).

Did you just fold exposed wire into the clamps or join two cut pieces then clamp them in?

When your putting together a single wire I double over the wire and crimp it. But with the 2 wires twisted together it creates enough surface area that it holds perfectly..

Do you just cut the heat tape to the needed size? Is that just standard black tape at the ends? Good pics man!

That's pretty cool. Would you wire it like that for a customer if requested, and if so, any additional cost? Just wondering, as I'm thinking of some uses for that in the future, lol.

Surething, that was actually for a customer.. The cost is the same as a plug and play connection.. However many connections you need like that one had 4.. Here is a 22x22" pad for an AP T11(48x24)... It would require 2 connections.

That's awesome. Later down the road I might have to get something like that for a rack.
