Get a boa. As adults they only eat every 3-4 weeks which leaves lots of handling time.

I can remember -WAY back when I only had one or two snakes... how much I hated it when they both ended up in shed at the same time...no one could
"come out & play".... Same thing after feeding. The "cure" was getting a lot more ...

I feel you. I have two, and both are weekly feeders, so I try to stagger it out to have someone able to be held. However right now one is on a feeding strike . . which, after I stopped worrying about it, I realized I get to hold him anytime I want, for now.

I totally feel you, there is one day every 3 weeks where neither snake can come out to play because both got fed the day before.
I got a third snake.... he's not on a food schedule yet as he's new to the fold.

Handling my snakes is one of the quiet highlights of my day and I've found it always puts me in a fantastic mood.

I need more snakes, one for every day of the week.

I have two pythons, somehow they've been able to smell each other from across the room and sync up their shed cycles.

Some of the dwarf localities get scarcely larger than a ball python and also grow at about the same speed that paint dries...
